It's been over a year since Trent and I took over the West Coast Swing program at SSQQ and it has been an amazing year! Getting to teach alongside some fantastic people and watching the program grow - and most importantly, spreading our love of WCS to new students! We’ve gotten to meet some incredible people who we now consider to be a part of our ever expanding dance family. :-)

We want to thank you so much for your praises but we have also listened to your concerns. We want to make the SSQQ West Coast Swing program the best that it can be. We want to thank all our instructors for working so hard with us to improve our syllabuses and for continuing to work on being the best teachers for our students.

We are very proud to present a brand new curriculum for the new year, designed to not only get you out on the dance floor faster, but to also help you become a better social dancer overall!

Level 1 (one month) – This is the introductory class to West Coast Swing. You will learn all your basic foundation moves to get you dancing on the floor in your first month!

Level 2 (3 months) – These next 3 classes will bring you to the next level in your foundation moves with 8 count patterns and even some fancy footwork and spins!

Level 3 (3 months) – Level 3 will show you how to combine all the moves from levels 1-2 in new ways and start teaching you how to bring some flash to your dance!

After level 3, we also offer a variety of technique, styling and musicality classes to really take your dance to the next level. We have something for everyone! As always, our levels 1-3 classes offer parallel classes so that you get 2 classes a week for the price of one. For instance, level 1 is taught on both Mondays and Fridays – but you pay one price to get into both classes! And if you wish to repeat a class (same level, same color), then it’s only half price!
