We just want to thank all of you for being part of our first month at the new SSQQ Dance Studio!  We had over 800 people register!  Thanks for being patient as we improve our space.  We have lots of good things in the works....180 yards of theatrical draping velour will arrive at my house tomorrow (Wednesday) so I will quickly begin getting them ready to go up.  We are working on getting some carpet on the upper part of the walls to help with sound.  We will take a look at more acoustic panels next week as well.  I hope you've noticed the lockers available in the ladie's restroom and the lounge!  You can feel secure with your belongings....thanks to Charley Denton!  Have you noticed the bench in the front?  Gary Berridge designed and made that...Thank you Gary!  Tresa Frazier is our talented artist painting the dancing shadows on the walls....we have a lot of talent here in our SSQQ family! 

Don't forget about our upcoming parties!  Saturday 8/21/2010 is our Salsa Party.  Crash courses will be from 6-8 and the party will begin at 8.  Crash courses will be $20 Single/$35 Couple, the party only will be $7. 

Saturday 8/28/2010 will be our Grand Opening from 7 to Midnight!  We will have a band "A Number Of Others" that will play all types of music.  Donations accepted....please come, dance and enjoy!  We might be able to have our ribbon cutting ceremony that day....sign up for our newsletter "Dance Update" for updates on that. 

Saturday  9/4/2010 we will have our Western Party...stay tuned for more details!
